The department of Technical Infrastructure is comprised of three functional areas:
Computer Scheduling is responsible for the timely execution and successful processing of administrative production workloads on multiple servers and platforms, throughout the entire University network. They are also responsible for the operation of the NCS scanner (Optical Mark Reader) for Professor Test Scoring, Surveys and other administrative applications.
Data Center Infrastructure provides the physical infrastructure necessary to house, secure, maintain and operate the University’s diverse computing equipment, network appliances, enterprise storage and associated peripheral devices.
Data Center Operations provides monitoring services for Data Center hardware, environmental systems and software applications. Operations also coordinates offsite storage services for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity purposes and provides centralized printing of many University letters and reports.
